麻豆 receives $250,000 grant for 麻豆Cares Program

The Office of the Governor has awarded Our Lady of the Lake University a two-year $252,222 grant to extend its support of the 麻豆Cares Program.
麻豆Cares empowers students, faculty and staff and lets them know their well-being and personal safety matters.
鈥淭hrough this grant, we will be able to continue to provide educational programming on our 麻豆 campuses to help prevent and reduce violence and crimes, such as sexual assault, sexual harassment, dating violence, domestic violence and stalking,鈥� said Jacqueline Walter, Director, Center for Women in Church and Society.
鈥淪ervices and support will continue to be provided through our 麻豆Cares confidential advisors. Services are provided to students, faculty and staff, regardless of sex, race, ethnicity, sexual orientation, age, disability, religion or national origin.鈥�
